Job Title: Associate Corporate Recruiter
National Veterinary Associates – General Practice (NVA-GP)
Job Summary
The Associate Corporate Recruiter supports NVA-GP’s hiring efforts by partnering closely with the Corporate Recruiting team to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. This is an entry-level recruiting role designed for individuals eager to build a foundation in full-cycle recruiting within a dynamic and purpose-driven organization. The Associate Corporate Recruiter will manage candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience while developing core recruiting competencies.
Key Responsibilities
Support full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned roles, with an emphasis on high-volume requisitions
Review and screen resumes to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with role requirements
Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens, clearly communicating role expectations and next steps
Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting hiring timelines and service-level expectations
Provide a professional, responsive, and positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
Assist with offer preparation and onboarding coordination
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with basic technology tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Smartsheet)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, or sales
Exposure to high-volume hiring environments (e.g., retail, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service)
Demonstrated interest in talent acquisition or human resources as a career path
Experience using applicant tracking systems or CRM tools
Ability to balance speed and quality while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
