Job Description:

Independently perform deployment, infrastructure management, and DevOps solutions to deliver reliable and reproducible application deployments in a timely manner. This role will primarily focus on deploying agentic AI applications and supporting broader EPIC (Enterprise Product Incubator of Capabilities) organization application deployments, while contributing to platform engineering efforts to standardize DevOps practices and architecture across the EPIC Organization. Demonstrate technical precision, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies. 

Responsibilities 

  • Deploy and manage agentic AI applications and other EPIC applications across hybrid cloud (AWS) and on-premise environments using Kubernetes and Docker. 

  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions to ensure smooth and automated deployment processes. 

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to provision and manage infrastructure resources consistently and efficiently. 

  • Perform routine DevOps tasks competently and independently, generating reliable and consistent deployment results. 

  • Troubleshoot deployment issues, containerized applications, and infrastructure configurations to ensure system reliability and performance. 

  • Monitor and analyze deployment metrics, noting significant variances or issues and taking corrective action. 

  • Collaborate with the Agentic team and broader EPIC teams to understand application requirements and adapt deployment strategies accordingly. 

  • Learn and implement new DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities. 

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures. 

  • Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience; OR Master’s Degree with no experience

  • Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) 

  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS 

  • Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure management 

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools 

  • Programming/scripting skills in Python 

  • Experience working with APIs and RESTful services 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team 

Preferred: 

  • General understanding of AI/ML deployment concepts, LLMs, or agentic AI systems 

  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipeline tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) 

  • Experience with platform engineering or standardizing DevOps practices across organizations 

  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools 

  • Experience with configuration management and automation tools 

  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud and hybrid environments
