Overview Associate Director, Media Technology We’re looking for an outstanding Associate Director, Media Technology - An individual contributor that is responsible for keeping on top of the latest digital media trends and bringing forward innovative solutions to advance our client’s strategy in brand safety, data connectivity and personalization. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is well versed in brand safety, brand suitability and fraud protection practices. It’s not a small or easy task, but it’s a fun and rewarding one. What you'll do: Act as the agency expert and client liaison on the topic of digital ad verification and brand safety Work with clients to maintain a clear and reasonable vision of brand suitability guardrails Drive internal processes across agency capability teams to ensure adherence to brand safety guardrails Evaluate, assess and recommend the most effective verification solutions, vendors, tools and processes to satisfy clients' objectives Monitor reporting and optimize to ensure digital media is being shown to a real person in a brand safe environment "Push the envelope" with vendors to create solutions that work best to satisfy the needs of Digitas and our clients Act as an ambassador for the brand, internally and externally Lead client discussions and performance reviews Manage inclusion/exclusion list Coordinate, aggregate and task manage across capabilities, to create unified client deliverables Update and evangelize brand safety publisher/vendor registry Create, update, and evangelize vendor reference guides Manage relevant parties' expectations on realistic implementation of deliverables Help the clients build and promote work within their company and, when appropriate, the broader marketplace Keep clients and internal teams moving and on task to complete deliverables Build vendor and interdepartmental respect, maintaining recognition as a leader on the business Create and maintain meaningful Points of Views (POVs) for industry trends that clients can easily understand Develop and maintain dashboards, presentations and reporting templates to highlight key concepts based on client objectives Work across agency capability teams to understand processes and implications of ad tech Maintain a deep understanding of the ad tech landscape (Ad Serving, Data Management, MTA/MMM, Identity Resolution, etc.) with a focus on interconnectivity and continuity Qualifications We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes: A self-starter mentality, with an ability to drive projects independently Proficiency in MS office suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint) Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint with a focus on storytelling and attention to detail Proficient in digital verification terminology and standards (IVT, Viewability, Brand Suitability) Understanding of the advertising technology landscape with a focus on verification (IAS, DV, Moat, etc…) Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Impressive expertise in the digital world – you keep a pulse on what’s happening, and you offer smart POVs on how businesses should adapt accordingly Amazing communication and presentation skills – you’re articulate, straightforward and engaging The ability to thrive under pressure and tackle crisis management Exceptional collaboration and team building skills Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate with key stakeholders 7-9 years' of experience Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
