Description:
The Associate Financial Analyst supports the Payments Team through financial analysis, reporting, and operational support. This role assists with a wide range of analytical and finance-related activities, providing data, insights, and reporting to help teams make informed decisions.

Some of the specific duties are listed below:
- Perform bank account and transaction reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting for assigned business areas
- Support month-end and periodic reporting activities, including data validation and issue resolution
- Perform research and analysis related to financial and operational questions
- Prepare and maintain reports and metrics
- Partner with internal teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support
- Identify trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities in financial data
- Participate in cross-functional and finance-wide projects as needed
- Help improve processes related to reporting, analysis, and data accuracy

Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with numbers and financial data accurately
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Ability to collaborate across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Intermediate-Level SQL knowledge to support reporting and analytical tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional experience in finance, analytics, or a related area

Location:
This position is based out of the Milliman office in Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time.
