Associate IT Business Analyst

JOB SUMMARY: Supports the development, enhancement, and maintenance of application software with a focus on data handling and basic database tasks. This role assists with database administration activities, including supporting the data model, and helps analyze, test, and implement aspects of physical database design under guidance.
As an Associate IT Business Analyst, you will contribute to turning data into useful information by supporting software development and data analysis efforts to build and maintain solutions that support business needs.
This is not a supervisory role.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in becoming a data supporter: Help design, develop, and implement basic software applications, scripts, or automation tools for data collection, processing, and analysis under senior guidance.
- Support data integration and management: Help integrate data from various sources and maintain basic data flows and pipelines.
- Assist with API development: Support the creation and maintenance of simple APIs to allow data access and basic manipulation.
- Troubleshoot and optimize: Identify and help resolve code or performance issues to support reliable system operation.
- Maintain and update: Assist in keeping existing software applications and databases current and functioning effectively.
- Support data-driven insights: Help with ad-hoc analyses, prepare basic reports, and assist in presenting data in understandable ways for business users.
- Assist in data exploration: Help clean, transform, and analyze datasets using standard tools and methods to identify basic trends or issues.
- Support visualization: Help develop and maintain simple data models, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights.
- Communicate findings: Assist in clearly presenting data results and basic recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 1�3 years of experience in software development, programming, and/or data analysis (or equivalent through internships/projects).
- Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or similar reporting tools.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver�s License and Car Insurance Verification, required.
- Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.

- This position requires light physical work and requires use of standard office and classroom equipment. - Employee is required to operate a computer.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works in a climate controlled, office environment most of the time. � Moderate noise level
- Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime, when required.
- Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
- Travel to all company locations, as required.
