About this role

PepsiCo is seeking an Associate Manager, Social Strategy to help drive content development for PepsiCo’s global social channels and advance our corporate storytelling through always-on, audience-first content and strategic corporate social influencer partnerships. This role shapes platform-native narratives that translate business priorities and corporate reputation initiatives into compelling social content, partnering closely with agency partners, content strategists, paid media specialists, influencer partners, and key internal stakeholders. 

 

 

  • Manage end-to-end content development for PepsiCo global social channels
  • Develop clear content briefs for key moments, campaigns, and priority stories; ensure messaging and objectives are carried through to final creative
  • Partner with content studio teams, producers, editors, and external vendors to execute high-quality content across channels, including co-created influencer content when applicable
  • Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., Communications, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Brand Communications, Paid Media, and agency teams) to ensure content is on-strategy and aligned to corporate and brand standards
  • Identify opportunities to connect storytelling across channels, ensuring consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity while optimizing for each platform, including coordinated distribution plans for content
  • Support editorial planning by contributing to global, cross-functional content calendars and workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to understand priorities, gather inputs, and shape how stories are told through social-first content
  • Make data-driven content decisions by using performance analytics (views, engagement, conversions, retention, search queries, and audience segments) to identify what’s working, prioritize high-impact topics, and continuously optimize content based on measurable outcomes
  • Support the development and execution of corporate social influencer partnerships (e.g., thought leaders, creators, and trusted community voices) that amplify priority narratives and reputation initiatives across platforms

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,500 -$156,450.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • 5–7 years of experience in social media content creation, influencer/creator programming, or content marketing for a Fortune 500 company in-house or at an agency
  • Highly effective communicator with strong editorial judgment, able to synthesize complex inputs, tailor messaging for diverse audiences, and influence stakeholders while navigating a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative, audience-centric content strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X)
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and managing external creative/production partners and legal reviews
  • Experience supporting influencer/creator partnerships (briefing, co-creation, feedback cycles, deliverable management, and performance learnings) is a plus 
  • Familiarity with content workflows, editorial governance, and digital publishing and reporting tools in a fast-paced environment
  • Agency experience is a plus but not required
