Position Summary:
As our Associate Product Manager you will support the product strategy for our Winchester Micro team within the Precision Connections Group. In this role, you will be supporting Product Management in defining and executing a comprehensive product roadmap and strategic plan that aligns with business goals, defending and driving sales growth, and expanding profitability. Product management requires a balance of market insight, cross-functional leadership, and strategic vision to ensure continued success and competitiveness in the market.
The successful candidate will learn from an experienced Product Management team learning key skills in managing and supporting existing product lines as well as understand market trends to help build strategic plans and Next Generation Products as well as develop key skills in new product Development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Business or Finance OR 1-2 years in Technical Sales or Engineering supporting connectors or electrical/mechanical products
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the year
- Effective and concise communication
- Experience in working within Defense or Space markets would be preferred.
- Technical knowledge of interconnect products is preferable.
- Experience in developing & executing growth strategies is preferable.
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), applicants must be a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62. - Track progress to the business strategic plan and facilitate the resolution of gaps
- Establish and develop close relationships with key customers and focused distributors to drive growth
- Develop product strategies to meet/exceed market growth and customer needs
- Execute pricing strategy to maintain profitability targets
- Deliver sustained profitable growth
- Deploy marketing initiatives to generate demand
- New product development champion to drive NPIsSupport the Senior Product Manager overseeing the Rectangular portfolio; managing the Sub-miniature, circular and rectangular product lines
- Become a subject matter expert in Military and Industrial sub miniature connectors
- Through vision and strategy, defend and grow the sub miniature circular and rectangular product lines
- Research and create commercial, financial and technical presentations supporting market and application trend, as well understand the competitive landscape
- Support in Pricing and Quoting of RFQ’s and RFI’s from customers, including building costing sheets and calculating sales pricing and margin
- Manage Salesforce and support the approval process of NBO (New Business Opportunities)

Pay Transparency:
Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $105,000 - $135,000 per year, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
