About this role
Position Summary:
Coordinates and implements program and membership Financial Assistance process for YMCA of Florida’s First Coast.
Essential Functions:
- Create and implement financial assistance policies and procedures for our association.
- Analyze and process all Florida’s First Coast program, child care and membership applications for Financial Assistance within 5 business days of receiving the application and communicating the approval with the applicant after it has been reviewed.
- Process all refunds for the association.
- Reconcile daily shift close outs for the department and prepare daily deposits.
- Perform multiple monthly membership audits to ensure the accuracy of records and the integrity of our association’s data.
- Perform data entry tasks and the creation of reports as requested by association staff.
- Send requests for refunds directly to the merchant for credit card requests and send Accounts Payable requests for check refunds after they are processed in our Member Management System.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Five years of experience or more in a supervisory accounting or analytical role.
- Experience in a not-for-profit environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of multiple YMCA software systems preferred.
- Ability to use standard business software systems.
- Must pass Level 2 Background Screening. Level 2 is a fingerprint check of state and federal criminal history information conducted through the Florida Department of law Enforcement (FDLE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). https://info.flclearinghouse.com
