The Attendee Management Specialist is a vital member of the UnitedHealth Group’s Events Center of Excellence, supporting both internal, external and executive events. This role is responsible for managing event attendee invitation and registration process to ensure consistency with brand and corporate requirements across high-priority enterprise programs. Daily duties include strategic planning and collaboration with internal stakeholders on the attendee management portion of their events. Success in this role requires comfort navigating a highly matrixed organization, managing multiple stakeholders, and adapting to shifting priorities. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a desire to drive successful and productive outcomes on a consistent basis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, thrives in collaborative and fast paced environment and has a passion for corporate events.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be during normal business hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end attendee management that drives consistent experience, providing on-site support when needed
- Manage relationships with existing and potential vendors, ensuring mature utilization of existing tools and roadmap development
- Provide ongoing reports to Event Managers and business partners regarding registration, reporting, attendee communications and mobile app deployment
- Maintain and build strong working relationships with cross-functional peers while adhering to established RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) / workstream guidelines for events
- Partner with key vendors to ensure accurate hotel accommodations and flight manifests
