Department Overview:
The Wisconsin Union, often referred to as "the heart and soul" of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has enhanced the lives of members and visitors since it was founded in 1907. Since 1928, when the doors to Memorial Union opened, the Wisconsin Union has served as the living room of the UW-Madison campus. The Union connects students, faculty, staff, members and visitors through shared cultural, social and recreational events and experiences.
Anticipated Hours Per Week

Looking for staff to fill the following positions for Fall 2026 semester:
Tuesdays: 7am-10:30am
Wednesdays: 12pm-4pm (can be split into 2 hour minimum slots)
Thursdays: 7am-12:30pm (can be split into 2 hour minimum slots)
Minimum Hour Expectation
See available shifts above. Need to work at least 1 or 2 of the above shifts.
Unit Hours
Academic Year:
Monday-Thursday: 8am-4pm
Fridays: 8am-3pm
Summer Session:
Monday through Thursday 8-2pm
Closed on Fridays

Badger Market Daily Dose is located in the Health Science Learning Center, at 750 Highland Ave.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $15.00 to $15.00Number Of Positions
3Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain clean, organized work and storage spaces
- Take orders and general cashiering duties
- Stocking unit coolers and shelves
- Inventory counts
Qualifications:
- Friendly and Positive Attitude
- Training is provided
Student Status
To be eligible for the Wisconsin Union positions, you must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or highschool (at least 16). It is not permissible to hire a person as a student hourly employee if they are taking credits merely to be eligible for student hourly employment. Review UW Policy 5003- Student Hourly Employment for more information. If school is in break period (summer, spring, winter), applicants must intend to enroll in courses the following semester.
