The BI Engineer for the Data, Insights and Analytics team at Chipotle will be assisting in building and maintaining our Enterprise Grade Reporting Solutions. You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical solutions, using Power BI sourcing data from many disparate sources. Additionally, this role will mine and analyze data that support key business initiatives and deep dives into business insights.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build and support Enterprise Grade Power BI Reporting Solutions used by senior leadership, restaurant support centers, field leadership and restaurants.
- Collaborating with other BI Engineers around data/table structures to optimize Power BI Dashboards and other self-service needs.
- Build prototypes for demonstration and illustration purposes for peer groups, business partners, or senior leaders, then initiate those solutions into production.
- Supporting peers and stakeholders through troubleshooting and analysis of results.
- Documenting and communicating technical specifications to ensure proper optimized techniques, queries, and final deliverables were understood and incorporated into data and analytics processes.
- Look for opportunities to improve current processes or find efficiencies.
- Participate in architecture design, discussions, and code reviews.
- Maintaining high customer satisfaction through implementation, investigation, analysis, training, and relationship-building efforts.
- Clearly communicate and drive discussions on data and insights, context, and implications with business and technology partners.

- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Ability to understand, analyze, and articulate complex business questions through data visualization and reporting
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI and T-SQL is preferred
- Effectively handle multiple projects and ad hoc requests simultaneously
- Have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Manage financial information in a confidential and professional manner
- Team player who can take direction and action upon it effectively
- Be highly motivated and flexible
