About this role
The Office of Finance is looking for a dedicated Accountant (Bond Accountant 2) who will:
- Prepare schedules to support financial statement numbers for assigned bond series
- Prepare financial statements for assigned bond series
- Pay disbursements related to bond issues, Single-Family expenses & preparing trustee & banking partner letters for investment purchases
- Maintain database for trustee extract files & transactions, interest rates on variable rate bonds & swaps, bond paydowns & investment purchases
- Prepare reports used by the group, such as the month end reports from US Bank, investment & bond balance totals, remarketing & liquidity contract information

The Office of Finance is seeking a Bond Accountant 2 with the following minimum qualifications:
- 36 months training or 36 months experience in accounting.
- OR completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or public administration; AND 12 months training or 12 months experience in accounting.
OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
Necessary Job Skills: Accounting and Finance, Regulatory Compliance, Interpreting Financial Statements, Attention to Detail, Teamwork, Time Management, Analyzation.
Applicable Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of & experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting
- Proficiency in Excel
- Skills in critical thinking, detail oriented & organization
- Ability to multi-task & work independently as part of a diverse team of financial professionals
