About this role
The Meta VR Hardware marketing team is responsible for driving the outbound consumer marketing strategy to support our virtual reality device portfolio from awareness through to acquisition. This includes always on activity as well as developing full funnel programs to support new hardware launches and campaigns.
In this role you will be responsible for proactively identifying challenges and opportunities for the business, designing appropriate insights fueled marketing strategies and developing impactful cross-channel plans and executions which drive to meaningful outcomes.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of creativity and technology, marketing products that push the boundaries of computing and human interaction.
Responsibilities
- Build highly effective marketing programs to support acquisition goals, with a focus on direct response marketing campaigns
- Develop and champion an operational model to drive integration across 1P and 3P acquisition channels and channel owners, leveraging data and insights to fuel strategy and drive business outcomes
- Identify marketing opportunities by understanding audiences, the competitive landscape, consumer trends, and product and market data
- Ensure a consistency across territories and consumer touchpoints, in collaboration with marketing managers across the business
- Demonstrate the effectiveness of marketing investment for the business through both short- and long-term measurement, across marketing flywheel & performance metrics
- Foster collaborative behavior that leverages a broad range of viewpoints to drive better business outcomes
- Cultivate collaborative internal partnerships, influence through others, resolve conflict, build alignment, and work effectively across teams to execute strategy
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a centralized integrated marketing function
- Experience shaping briefs to drive strategy and execution in lower funnel performance marketing channels
- Proven experience in developing recommendations and synthesizing learnings through data
- Demonstrated track record leading cross functional teams while driving tactical execution
- Experience managing through ambiguity and identifying opportunities to drive efficiency and impact
- Experience in leading complex marketing programs from ideation to execution through to reporting and optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Hardware marketing experience
- Programatic marketing experience
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Compensation
- $152,000/year - $213,000/year; Country: US; Bonus eligible; Equity eligible
