Position Summary:

The Bus Operations Rep plays a vital role in the success of the casino’s marketing-related functions. This position will participate in front-line customer service, new card sign-ups, customer database, promotional and enrollment kiosks, comp redemption, ticket sales, daily bus operations, and promotions. The representative ensures a smooth and welcoming experience that enhances guest satisfaction and supports the property. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the Bus Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino’s culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
  • Oversee the arrivals and departures of buses along with all daily documentation required.
  • Verify and process guest eligibility for bus program initiatives (Rewards program, free play, food vouchers).
  • Monitor and report all bus-related issues to the Bus Supervisor.
  • Issue Player Cards and input data into the player system.
  • Issue comps to qualified players.
  • Be involved in special events and promotions.
  • Be involved in ticket sales.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with bus companies, tour operators, and group leaders.
  • Effectively and accurately operate assigned equipment, including but not limited to Konami Player Tracking, promotional and enrollment kiosks, standard computer terminals, embossers, InfoGenesis, scanners, and mobile devices for enrollment and bus operations.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Knowledge and ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse.
  • Ability to accurately work and/or manage multiple projects under demanding circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in guest service required.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

  • All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
  • Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for the duration of their shift.

Work Conditions:

Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.  Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and will contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage.  Work is performed outdoors and can involve continuous exposure to high and low temperatures, sunlight, wet surfaces, and noise.
