Job Qualifications

Five years of combined experience working with business and/or information technology systems analysis as well as documentation. Experience in project management is preferred.

OR

Bachelor's degree and three years of combined experience working with business and/or information technology systems analysis as well as documentation.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED:

Elicitation:

Candidates must be well-versed in commonly used requirements elicitation techniques and methods, with the ability to independently engage stakeholders and drive requirements clarity.

Artifacts Development:

Business Requirements Documents (BRD) including As‑Is (Current State) and To‑Be (Future State) process flows

Functional specifications (User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria)

Product backlog and sprint backlog

Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining Business System Analyst (BSA) artifacts, including:

SDLC Methodology Exposure:

Strong working knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments.

Quality Management & Testing:

Solid understanding of quality management processes with the ability to support and/or lead testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordination across other testing phases.

Tools Proficiency:

Proficiency in MS Office Suite; working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is highly preferred.

Enterprise Project Exposure:

Experience working on complex, enterprise-scale programs/projects with cross-functional team coordination are preferred.

​​​​​​​Integrated Project Management Responsibilities (25–30%):In addition to core BSA responsibilities, this role includes embedded project coordination and delivery responsibilities within an EPMO environment:

Support project execution activities including tracking scope, schedule, and deliverables.

Assist/lead in driving day-to-day project activities, ensuring alignment between business, IT, and delivery teams

Support risk, issue, and dependency tracking, including escalation when required

Contribute to status reporting and executive updates by providing accurate and timely information on deliverables, progress and risks.

Facilitate coordination across cross-functional teams (business stakeholders, IT, QA, and vendors) to maintain delivery momentum

    Major Duties

    Collaborates across the enterprise to perform business process analysis and evaluate enterprise systems functions to construct as-is and to-be workflows, charts and diagrams. Identifies and documents solution dependencies to facilitate functional as well as technical design reviews, ensuring system modifications and/or enhancements meet the business needs.
    Elicits functional business requirements and tracks the identified requirements through the project life cycle, confirming all requirements are meet with the solution delivered.
    Works with stakeholders and solution providers to define Use Cases and Test Scenarios. Coordinates the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing to validate system functionality.
    Ensures that all standard business system analysis documentation is completed timely and with accuracy. Prepares reports to communicate status of deliverables to senior management throughout the enterprise.
    Leads and direct contractors assigned to corporate programs and projects.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
