Responsibilities Business Analysis Manager https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tMgKm_71qs (by clicking this link you are being referred to an external site that is not part of Panasonic) Meet the Recruiter: Amber Smallwood What You'll Get To Do: This role blends data enablement and actionable analytics—you'll be equally comfortable building and maintaining enterprise-grade dashboards as you are diving deep into data to surface trends, patterns, and recommendations that inform strategic decisions. This is an experienced individual contributor role with the opportunity to influence analytics strategy and influence business decisions and outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency in modern cloud analytics platforms and a passion for translating complex data into clear, compelling stories for audiences ranging from front-line teams to senior leadership. Data Analysis & Actionable Insights Conduct in-depth analysis across operational, financial, and organizational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations tailored to the audience—from functional teams to executive leadership. Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, success metrics, and analytical frameworks aligned with strategic goals. Dashboard Development & Data Visualization Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports consumed at all levels of the organization. Manage the full dashboard lifecycle: requirements gathering, data modeling, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. Apply data visualization best practices to ensure reports are intuitive, accurate, and drive user adoption. Data Enablement & Infrastructure Develop and optimize data models, queries, and pipelines using Azure SQL, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric to support scalable, reliable analytics solutions. Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility across source systems. Contribute to data governance efforts including documentation, metadata management, and standard operating procedures. Collaboration, Communication & Team Development Serve as a trusted analytics partner to cross-functional business teams. Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Document processes, share best practices, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives. Scope: This is an level individual contributor role with no direct reports, yet it carries a manager level title due to the strategic ownership of core processes that impact multiple other teams and functions within the organization. This role fills a critical business need as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. This position requires a high level of autonomy, cross-functional collaboration, and accountability for delivering scalable, high-impact analytics solutions. Qualifications What You'll Bring Education & Experience: 3-7 years’ experience in analytics Hands-on experience with cloud analytics platforms, specifically Azure SQL, Databricks, and/or Microsoft Fabric. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and enterprise report/dashboard design. Solid understanding of data modeling principles (star schema, dimensional modeling). Advanced Excel skills (VBA, Power Query, Pivot Tables, DAX, Data Models) Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver data-driven recommendations. Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot advanced issues within Power BI, Excel, and Azure SQL Identifies core issues and develops solutions to present to decision makers when needed. Takes point and proactively identifies process gaps and implements solutions to prevent future occurrences when issues arise Communications: Key communications contacts (internal/external) and level of persuasion required Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders at all organizational levels. The wage range of $105,000 - $130,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
