Leidos seeks a Business Analyst to support NASA’s Network and Telecommunications organizations.

The Business Analyst will support the program, project, or functional teams by analyzing business processes, identifying requirements, and developing data-driven recommendations to improve operational performance. This role gathers and documents functional and technical requirements, evaluates existing and future systems or workflows, and supports reporting, compliance, and customer communication activities.

Overview:

  • Provides support to the program functional area by providing data analytics to evaluate processes, identify requirements, and provide data-driven reports and suggestions to the team.

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

  • Performing requirements analysis.

  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

  • Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

  • Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.

 Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to the program office in identifying services, processes and cost for existing and future IT systems. 

  • Prepares and modifies presentations, drawings, flow charts, diagrams, narrative documents and other data for projects/customer presentations and report in a variety of media.

  • Maintains a detailed knowledge of the required compliance documentation. 

  • Maintains and updates electronic files, record and data. 

  • Maintains databases current in support of project control and other applicable business activities.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills. 

  • Successfully work with remote teams and in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Demonstrate advanced analytical skills. 

  • Problem analysis and resolution skills. 

  • Experience with Configuration Management Plans. 

  • US Citizenship is required and able to obtain at minimum Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical and business information clearly.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Visio, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

To be considered for the following levels:

  • Level 1/Entry Level:  Bachelor and less than 2 years relevant experience.

  • Level 2:  Bachelor and 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Level 3:  Bachelor and 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Level 4:  Bachelor and 8+ years of relevant experience.

We are specifically looking for candidates in the following locations:

  • Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Huntsville, AL.

  • Stennis Space  Center (SSC) , Stennis, MS/New Orleans, LA.

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
