JOB SUMMARY
The Business Analyst will analyze and evaluate various sources of clinical and financial data in support of clinical service lines to reduce costs, improve quality and further the goals and objectives of hospital administration.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate collection, interpretation and analyses of clinical and financial data to respond to proposals for new products, services and/or programs
- Identify and validate sources of data to include, but not limited to, medical records, financial data, patient volumes, and benchmark data.
- Develop and produce reports that monitor and benchmark cost, utilization and other quality and performance indicators.
- Assist project teams in the design and implementation of care paths, utilization reduction, cost containment and development of standards.
- Recommend modifications and corrective actions to existing practices as appropriate.
- Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or a related business field.
- Work generally requires 1 year of experience.
- Analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills required
JOB HOURS
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
