About the Team
The VitalIQ Product team partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high‑quality IT solutions and services that support organizational cost, quality, and strategic objectives. The team focuses on collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer‑centric delivery to enhance VitalIQ platforms across assigned states. Working in a supportive and structured environment, team members gain exposure to product management best practices, software development processes, and stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
This entry‑level role supports the VitalIQ Product team by partnering with an assigned VitalIQ State to help deliver IT solutions aligned with business needs. Under the direction and oversight of a Group Product Manager, the role focuses on business requirement elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and application testing. The position also involves direct interaction with customers and stakeholders, requiring clear communication and relationship‑building to support successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
Analyze and document basic business requirements and business processes.
Assist in developing system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies.
Translate business needs into basic functional specifications and user‑level documentation.
Support testing activities by validating application features and functionality against documented requirements.
Follow established business processes, protocols, and quality standards during solution development and deployment.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers to manage expectations and identify potential issues.
Escalate risks, concerns, or changes to project managers as appropriate.
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships through effective communication and consistent, high‑quality execution.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and project objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Understanding of current (“As‑Is”) and future‑state (“To‑Be”) business processes.
Basic knowledge of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and programming languages.
Familiarity with gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories or functional specifications.
Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Moderate facilitation skills with the ability to participate in requirements and process discussions.
Basic oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document information clearly and concisely.
