About this role

  Primary Responsibilities 

· Applies analytical skills to define root causes to business problems 

· Elicits, generates, and refines product requirements for new and existing system functionality 

· Research, understand, and master current system design and architecture to develop product knowledge and contribute towards solutions analysis  

· Champions tactical product design decisions to maximize return on investment 

· Documents requirements into software development lifecycle artifacts, such as design specifications 

· Facilitates cross-functional communication between internal stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle 

· Provides regular project status updates to relevant external stakeholders 

· Presents oral and written reports of successes, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management 

· Executes product and business-related ad hoc projects 

  

Qualifications 

· Required: 

o Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field 

o Analytical thinking and problem solving skills 

o Interpersonal skills to facilitate interactions between stakeholders to resolve conflict and aid in requirement prioritization 

o Communication skills to effectively express ideas in ways that are appropriate for the target audience and to document elicitation results, requirements, and other information for which medium to long-term records are required 

o Personal organization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously 

· Preferred: 

o Experience in user interface design and mock-up creation 

o Experience using software applications to document requirements and model designs to support development of products
