Business Analyst Intern

Overview:

Accounting & Business Data Analysis Intern will support the Business Operations teams. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial data management, accounting processes, and business analytics. The intern will assist in analyzing financial and operational data, improving reporting processes, and supporting data-driven business decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assists with business data collection, reconciliation, and reporting to support accounting operations.
• Supports the preparation and analysis of weekly financial reports, project / revenue tracking
• Assists maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and accounting documentation.
• Conducts business data analysis to identify trends in sales, project performance, and operational metrics.
• Assists in developing dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Supports data validation and ensures accuracy and integrity of financial and business data.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial reporting and data workflows.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Project management, Business Development, Finance and Operations.

 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, English-Chinese Bilingual is a plus.
• Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English proficiently.

 

Physical Requirements:         

• Ability to stand /sit/walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform some activities with repetitive motion, such as keyboarding.
• Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels.
