Position Overview:

The Business Analyst Intern role within the Sales Operations team is designed to support our project managers as well as our sales organization, with sales and market analysis. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and ensure we have detailed and accurate reporting and actionable analytics using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake, Excel, and SQL. You will also be responsible for supporting the project managers in analyzing sales metrics, establishing actionable sales targets, and delivering lead deployments to our business development teams. You will have the skill set to combine data sets across multiple data sources and deliver solutions in a useful and appealing manner to the end users, in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends, and correlations.

    autonomously.
  • Proficiency in creating visually engaging reports and dashboards that are easy to interpret.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Use analytical skills within SQL and Excel to support business decisions that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders across the organization as directed by their leader
  • Analyze a range of datasets to identify trends and patterns, creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify changes in KPIs and key drivers within the business.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders, informing decisions across the organization.
  • Build models to forecast outcomes related to changes within the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvement in customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.
  • This role plays a critical part in supporting the sales operations by ensuring data-driven insights are readily available, which enables informed decision-making. 
  • The analytics provided by this role directly contribute to achieving sales targets, optimizing resource allocation, and improving overall sales performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, sales leaders, and business development teams, to understand data requirements and deliver accurate insights. 
  • Present findings in both written and verbal formats to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that insights are actionable and easy to understand. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of data reporting

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within sales operations or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and data visualization
  • Experience with SQL 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data & analysis to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner 
  • Skills in statistical analysis

 What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices
  • Experience with Snowflake and Tableau
