Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Participate as a member of the IT Service Delivery team to learn and understand clients, business teams, and IT internal processes.
- Understand the tools and methodologies used to effectively elicit and document project requirements for IT solution development.
- Gain experience serving as a liaison between the business users and IT teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, including process optimization, risk and security mitigation, and technology utilization.
- Write and perform functional tests as well as user acceptance tests for applications and business processes.
- Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors while meeting deadlines
- Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer
- Respond to inquiries and requests timely and efficiently
- Professional in appearance and manner
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- This position could have the potential to become a direct hire in a full-time position after graduation
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence) or other team/project collaboration tools a plus.
- Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently on projects and within a remote team environment
- Ability to execute assigned projects within established deadlines
- Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Intern must be working toward or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems or related field
