Job purpose
BorgWarner DMS seeks a Business Analytics Intern to support the BU procurement excellence team. This position will assist with creation maintenance and ideation of new and existing analytical tools / dashboards.
Key responsibilities
- Systems development and maintenance support
- Redesign current PowerBI dashboards
- Creating new PowerBI dashboards
- Assist in the daily activities of ad hoc analysis
- Validate and understand analysis
- Summarize results in professional presentations
- Create timelines and plan for the project
- Other tasks as needed
What we’re looking for
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college, university, vocational/trade school.
- Ability to report onsite at least three days to our Auburn Hills Campus
Education & Experience
- Computer Science preferred, Supply Chain major, Business Administration
- Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new business and technical skills and develop creative approaches to solving difficult problems
- Ability to work within large teams and communicate effectively
Qualifications
- PowerBI
- Microsoft Power platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, etc.)
- Data Visualization
- Data Analysis
- SQL, Python, R
- Proficient in PowerPoint
