Job purpose

BorgWarner DMS seeks a Business Analytics Intern to support the BU procurement excellence team. This position will assist with creation maintenance and ideation of new and existing analytical tools / dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Systems development and maintenance support
• Redesign current PowerBI dashboards
• Creating new PowerBI dashboards
• Assist in the daily activities of ad hoc analysis
• Validate and understand analysis
• Summarize results in professional presentations
• Create timelines and plan for the project
• Other tasks as needed

What we’re looking for

• Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college, university, vocational/trade school.
• Ability to report onsite at least three days to our Auburn Hills Campus

Education & Experience

• Computer Science preferred, Supply Chain major, Business Administration
• Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new business and technical skills and develop creative approaches to solving difficult problems
• Ability to work within large teams and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• PowerBI
• Microsoft Power platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, etc.)
• Data Visualization
• Data Analysis
• SQL, Python, R
• Proficient in PowerPoint
