Business Data Analyst

What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment

• Identifies, analyzes, and presents data, and insights to various functional areas to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze big data from a variety of internal and external sources to enable analytic use cases.
• Make relevant data visualizations or dashboards.
• Automate and maintain repeatable processes.
• Use big data tools and advanced techniques to build models (ex. Forecasting, Linear Regression, etc.)
• Continually learn and share knowledge.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or Computer Science OR relevant certification and work experience in data science/analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI or equivalent tools.
• Experience using SQL to gather and manipulate data for analysis.
• Preferred: Experience working in Databricks or Snowflake for data processing, modeling, or analytics workflows.
• Preferred: Background in CRM, consumer insights, or marketing analytics (e.g., churn/retention analysis, customer lifecycle modeling, segmentation, or insight generation to support targeted engagement strategies).

Knowledge and Skills:

• Extremely curious about data
• Strong desire to learn new analytic techniques and get better every day
• Intermediate data literacy
• Skill in leveraging data visualization to communicate to various audiences

Environment and Working Conditions:

• Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time during the work day.
