Job Purpose

The Business Systems Analyst I gathers, analyzes, and validates business process and IT technology requirements necessary for the design, development and implementation of Procurement applications. 

He/she collaborates with business stakeholders and with Enterprise IT Services to create software specifications, test, implement and support Procurement systems.

Key Accountabilities

 

Observation of process - Analysis, Design - Analyzes and resolves issues by coordinating with in‐house personnel (both on shore/off shore) to diagnose and fix operational difficulty, as well as consulting, advising and training on specialized features and functions.

Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback. Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements.

QA and Standards - Performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements. Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing and auditing new software programs

Documentation – work with team members to help develop technical documentation.

Follow Agile Framework:- Understand agile scrum Honda framework and responsible for setting the direction for product development with scrum team and/or project progress with agile project team.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

Completed or in process of obtaining BA/BS in information technology, computer science, related field or equivalent work experience.

 

Minimum Experience                      

  • Entry level experience with coding, testing, design and software development methodologies
  • Entry level experience with major dbms
  • Entry level experience of agile scrum framework.

 

Other Job-Specific Skills   

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with all levels of the organization

Mostly office type environment
