Business Systems Analyst (with Azure Databricks)

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.

·       Translate business rules into Spark SQL logic; write, test, and optimize Spark SQL for data transformation.

·       Support Azure cloud solution implementation, working closely with teams using Databricks, ADF, and related tools.

·       Review and analyze SSIS packages (Visual Studio) for data flows and impact assessment.

·       Validate business rules with users and ensure accurate implementation in code.

·       Identify process improvement and automation opportunities across systems and workflows.

·       Collaborate with technology teams to deliver requirements, support QA, and ensure timely project milestones.

·       Analyze system builds, update documentation, and manage scope and priorities.

·       Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, planning, refinement) and contribute to sprint deliverables.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly salary for this position is between $[107,000 - 125,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
