Responsibilities
CBIZ is seeking an energetic campus recruiting professional to deliver a personalized candidate experience and attract top university talent. You'll have the opportunity to direct the design, development, and implementation of strategic recruitment initiatives. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring high-caliber candidates from universities across the country.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Collaborate with regional Campus Recruiting Manager, business leaders, and human resource partners to assess hiring needs and goals, and to develop, implement, and execute a tailored campus recruiting strategy.
Leverage recruiting metrics to evaluate the success of campus recruiting investments, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Collect, analyze, and communicate key data and insights to business leaders and stakeholders, providing transparent and actionable reports on recruiting outcomes as needed.
Collaborate to track, analyze, and share industry trends, such as application volume, event management, competitor timelines, and compensation, and use this data to adjust campus recruiting strategies for continued competitiveness in the market.
Manage requisitions, develop sourcing strategies, screen and interview candidates, and track and analyze interview feedback while providing consultative guidance to the business on candidate selection and advancement.
Coordinate on-campus initiatives - including networking events, interviews, club sponsorships, and leadership conferences - to strengthen university partnerships, facilitate the identification of high-potential candidates, and advance CBIZ’s strategic campus recruiting objectives for both internship and full-time hiring.
Assist with the planning, delivery, and execution of national campus recruiting events, ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives and contributing to the overall success of entry-level talent acquisition initiatives.
Partner with regional Campus Recruiting Manager to foster active engagement in entry-level recruiting among business leaders, human resource business partners, and associates, emphasizing the strategic importance of their participation in campus talent acquisition initiatives.
Support cross-functional collaboration by assisting colleagues across business units and markets and provide mentorship to junior team members as appropriate. Apply consultative thinking to proactively identify and implement solutions that enhance team performance.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with a sense of urgency, effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and exercise sound judgment in handling confidential information.
Communicate confidently and professionally with students and stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and representing the organization’s values.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience managing full-cycle university or campus recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate management.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, sourcing techniques, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute campus events such as networking sessions, interviews, and student organization partnerships.
Strong commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and internal partner experience; able to foster positive relationships and represent organizational values.
Quick learner with sound decision-making skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and respond constructively to feedback.
Highly consultative and decisive, able to provide effective guidance and recommendations to business leaders, HR partners, and stakeholders.
Passion for working with and assessing university students, with experience in campus engagement and student organizations a plus.
Familiarity with public accounting, professional services, insurance, benefits, and/or risk management industries is strongly preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to interpret recruiting metrics and industry trends to inform and enhance recruiting strategies.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Demonstrated event planning experience, preferably within a campus or university setting.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience preferred or High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of recruiting experience
- Working knowledge of the public accounting or a professional services firm is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
