About this role
About the Department
- Supervision of all canteen personnel, civilian back up and inmates.
- Interview, hire, and terminate all inmate canteen workers.
- Oversee sales transactions through the canteen point of sale system.
- Ensures all adjustments are correctly processed.
- Maintain proper requisitioning, receipt, and storage of all canteen products.
- Ensure that all policy and security procedures are followed to prevent loss of canteen product and equipment.
- Follow procedures to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure stock rotation.
- Supervise the daily reporting of sales and receipts to ensure they are accurate.
- Conducts daily, quarterly, and monthly inventories.
- Standard position hours may vary per institution and subject to change.
