Cardiac Rehab Program Supervisor Full Time Days Position Summary:

Oversees the daily functions and team members of the Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab/Wellness Centers. Assesses and evaluates care of each patient. Identities actual or potential health problems, not limited only to cardiopulmonary system, but a holistic approach to body systems. Reports and maintains vital sign records and symptomatology in coordination with other disciplines. Duties also include assisting with medical emergencies, maintaining emergency equipment and liaison person to all disciplines. Responsible for Cardiac Program development and implementation.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Master’s degree preferred in Exercise Physiology, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree in health related field preferred.
  • Experience: Three years of experience working in Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: If RN - Current NC RN license required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge of coronary anatomy, physiology, risk factor identification, and methods of intervention; knowledge in exercise physiology, nutrition, counseling, and use of education programs applied to cardiovascular rehabilitation; Epic EMR knowledge regarding charting, scheduling, and billing.
  • Additional Skills Preferred: Strong Communication Skills; mobile in their environment.
