About this role

The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible cardiac surgeon with expertise in aortic surgery to join our cardiac surgery and endovascular practice. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-volume, quaternary care program recognized for innovation, quality, and multidisciplinary care.

The selected candidate will play a key role in advancing Mayo Clinic’s comprehensive aortic program across the clinical, academic, and research missions of the institution.  

Qualifications

  • MD/DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Thoracic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Demonstrated expertise in open and endovascular aortic procedures
  • Experience with surgical treatment of complex aortic pathologies  
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota
