As our Caregiver, you will assist residents with activities of daily living per the care plan and can make a significant contribution to their quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
- Applying minor first-aid measures as directed by nurse.
- Adhering to health and safety standards.
- Obtaining and recording resident weight, vitals, and other resident care needs as required.
- Assisting other departments such as life enrichment, housekeeping and dining service, as needed.
Shift(s) Available: Day and Noc shift available
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of related work experience or training preferred.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Possess or ability to obtain all state required credentials and certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
- Ability to move up to 25 lbs. and assist in transferring residents weighing more than 100 lbs.
- Current HCA, CNA, or equivalent credential a plus (not required).
