Caregiver

Description

As our Caregiver, you will assist residents with activities of daily living per the care plan and can make a significant contribution to their quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Applying minor first-aid measures as directed by nurse.
• Adhering to health and safety standards.
• Obtaining and recording resident weight, vitals, and other resident care needs as required.
• Assisting other departments such as life enrichment, housekeeping and dining service, as needed.

Shift(s) Needed:  Night shift. 2 Days per week (Wednesdays and Fridays). 12 Hour shifts (6:00pm- 6:00am).

Requirements

• Current HCA, CNA, or equivalent license.
• At least 6 months of related work experience or training preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Possess or ability to obtain all state required credentials and certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
• Ability to move up to 25 lbs. and assist in transferring residents weighing more than 100 lbs.
