About this role
The Philip and Patricia Frost Institute for Chemistry and Molecular Science (FICMS) and the Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami seek applicants for one tenure-track faculty appointment in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in chemistry, broadly defined. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and would begin August 15, 2026.
The ideal candidate will be able to integrate their research activities with those of existing faculty in FICMS and the Department of Chemistry, as well as in other interdisciplinary research programs. Applicants who can contribute to the College’s work in quantum science are especially encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in chemistry by the start date of the appointment
- Significant postdoctoral experience
