Provide administrative and office support for the Residence Life Central office.
Responsibilities
The following tasks are expectations of Office Assistants:
- Answering phones
- Arriving to shifts on time
- Communicating accurate and timely information
- Supporting departmental operations
- Providing quality customer service experiences – both over the phone and, in-person
- Adhering to the Family Equal Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Arriving to shifts on time
- Using Homebase (scheduling website) to clock in for shifts, update availability and initiate shift changes.
- Assisting with ID card issues and ID card printing
- Attending and participating in staff meetings.
- Conducting laundry walks if necessary
- Handling the checkout of supplies and practice rooms
- Using a desktop computer and telecommunication software
Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn and retain support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
