Schedule: M-F 0800-1630 - no weekends or major holidays! 

 

Novant Health Wound Care - Belfair treats non-healing and hard-to-heal wounds related to diabetes or another health condition, a surgery or a trauma. 

 

Wounds we regularly treat include:

  • Venous leg ulcers
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Arterial ulcers
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Non-healing surgical wounds
  • Non-healing traumatic wounds
  • Burns

Wound care services and wound treatments we offer include:

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience: 1 year of Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required. 
  • Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required.
    • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
    • Medication Safety - AME, required.
    • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
  • Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation
What You'll Do:
  • Facilitate Patient Intake & Flow: Guide patients to exam rooms, assist with positioning and undressing for wound care or examinations, and ensure they are comfortable and prepared.

  • Monitor & Record Vital Signs: Accurately measure and document patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, respiration) prior to provider consultation.

  • Prepare Clinical Environments: Organize and set up specific medical instruments and supplies in accordance with RN or physician instructions.

  • Provide Direct Patient Support: Assist patients with safe mobility, including transferring to exam tables and escorting to restrooms as needed.

  • Support Administrative Workflows: Retrieve, organize, and prepare necessary medical records, consent forms, and documentation to streamline provider workflows.

  • Deliver Versatile Clinical Assistance: Proactively support nursing and medical staff with daily clinical and administrative tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
