How you’ll contribute
A Phlebotomist who excels in this role:
- Perform venipunctures and skin punctures on hospital patients.
- Assists in reviewing lab results and alerts Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor or Director of Nursing as needed.
Responsibilities include blood specimen collection including blood cultures.

What we're looking for
Applicants should be a high school graduate or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
- Formal Phlebotomy training as required by state.
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred and valid state Clinical Lab Scientists as required by state.
Six (6) months acute phlebotomy experience or one (1) year experience as a medical assistant performing venipuncture or one (1) year outpatient lab experience preferred.
