What You Will Be Doing:
The Child Support Enforcement Specialist 2 is a first-level supervisory position with responsibility for supervising a team of Child Support Enforcement Specialists and Office Assistants. The CSES2 will be assigned as a supervisor in the establishment section of CSED, overseeing intake, paternity, and the establishment and modification of child support orders.
Teams are responsible for child support enforcement actions, case preparation, paternity determinations, and/or establishment of child support orders and briefing the general public and other organizations on CSED policies, procedures, statutes, regulations, court rules, and available services.
You will be required to make important decisions and oversee employees, their schedules, production, and teambuilding. You'll get to interview applicants, hire them, and promote them.

Special Note:
Positions require incumbents to pass a fingerprinting background investigation to meet security requirements for access to State and national databases.

BACKGROUND CHECK
The Alaska Public Safety Information Network (APSIN) is utilized in this position. A background check and fingerprinting will be required.
The incumbent will be required to obtain APSIN access, which will be done through the office.
