About this role
This position is responsible for the supervision of children of various ages and needs while they are in the Kids' Life Center, which includes playing games in the activity room and junior gym, reading stories, leading arts and craftsactivities, monitoring the viewing of appropriate TV programs and videos, and assisting children with bathroom activities. This position is expected to maintain a clean, safe environment for children and provide appropriate member service and interaction. This position is also expected to follow through with KLC daily operations, policies and procedures including registering all children as they enter/exit the KLC, monitoring the health of the children and adjusting activities accordingly, following proper opening/closing procedures, following emergency procedures including basic first aid and incident reports, and assisting with equipment/supply inventory and purchase recommendations.
Job Requirements:2 years High School Education (Required)
High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
1 - 2 years paid work experience in a related field - childcare, teaching, etc. In lieu of childcare paid work experience will consider qualified students through the TriHealth Student Assistant Program. (Required)
Strong oral communication skills
Customer service oriented
Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
Job Responsibilities:
Performs daily operations- -checking children in and out, collecting money, opening/closing procedures, following emergency procedures, maintaining a clean, safe environment.-
Exhibits professional image and behavior toward members, visitors, clients, and all TriHealth employees and creates a positive impression consistent with professional etiquette.
Exhibits dependability in all areas such as attendance, tardiness, and timely performance of duties.
Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in seeking and/or accepting additional assignments.

Assists with the development and implementation of KLC programs and staff a variety of KLC daily and special event programs -craft time, sing-a-long, birthday parties, PNO, Spring Safari, Freaky Friday, etc.
Actively supervises and interacts with the children in all areas of the KLC -junior gym, activity room, and nursery- including reading stories, leading activities, and playing games.
