Position: Head Cook – Main Street Campus
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Washington State Food Handler’s Permit
Previous supervisory experience required
Experience with Mealtime M-Power computer software and cashiering
Experience and knowledge of operating and maintaining industrial kitchen equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate and interact effectively with co-workers, students, staff, parents, and Food Service Director
Maintain production records following state and federal guidelines
Prioritize tasks to effectively work within given timelines
Maintain safety and sanitation practices set by the State Health Department
Willingness to assume various other duties as assigned
Foster and support a positive work environment
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Work Year: 2026-2027 school year; Continuing Position
Hours: 4 hours per day; 181 days per year; 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Monday through Friday.
Starting Date: August 27,2026
Salary: $26.77 -$33.89 dependent upon school district food service experience.
Benefits: This position qualifies for healthcare benefits (medical insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and
disability insurance, retirement benefits, up to 12 days of sick leave, and up to three (3) days of personal leave per school year.
(Days of sick leave and personal leave are prorated based on employee start date.)
