Employment Type: Full-time
Shifts Available: Day Shift
Hours: 8-hour shifts- 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Monday through Friday)
Location: Healient Clinic- Kansas City, MO
We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a busy clinic setting, with preference for candidates who have experience in cardiology and/or telemetry environments. This role provides a balance of direct clinical care and patient coordination, working closely with providers to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include venipuncture, lab draws, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing (POCT), along with medication management, prescription refills, and completion of prior authorizations. The LPN will also play a critical role in phone triage, assessing patient needs, providing education, and coordinating appropriate follow-up care.
Experience with EMR documentation, patient intake, and care coordination is highly preferred. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced outpatient environment, with a strong willingness to learn, grow, and support the clinical team.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Perform venipuncture, lab draws, and specimen collection
- Conduct point-of-care testing (POCT)
- Manage medication administration, prescription refills, and medication coordination
- Complete prior authorizations for medications and treatments
- Provide phone triage, assess patient symptoms, and coordinate follow-up care
- Support providers with patient care and daily clinic operations
- Document patient interactions in EMR systems
- Assist with patient intake and care coordination
Qualifications
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain it current.
- IV certification upon hire.
