Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NH NHRMC)
Work Schedule: PRN

- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PhD, preferred. Doctorate of Pharmacy.
- Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
What You'll Do:
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens using evidence-based medicine and standards of care.
Support hospital performance on national quality indicators, with a strong focus on the admission medication process.
Provide educational in-services to clinical staff.
Develop policies and processes to enhance departmental operations and workflow efficiency.
Participate in at least one departmental or hospital committee.
Precept pharmacy students and/or residents, contributing to clinical education and training.
