Job Overview

Identifies the specifications and requirements of the tools and recommends revisions in the design or fabrication, materials, and production processes.
 

Job Requirements

• Ensuring high-quality machines with particular specifications by modifying the control speed and the material used and constructing new features as and when required.
• Fabricating the parts or a complete tool using a mill or lathe from the tooling prints, blueprints, and product drawings and modifying the tooling to close tolerances.
• Monitoring the quality checks, documenting the results of quality procedures, and collaborating with the maintenance team to correct and repair the machines and tools.
• Resolving the problems in the mold during production, supporting production equipment and machines to minimize production loss.
   

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 2-5  years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
