QA Automation Engineer

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web, mobile, and API applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring software quality by building scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and supporting continuous delivery pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong experience in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.

• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Familiarity with performance, regression, and integration testing.

• Experience using test management and project tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.

• Proven experience building and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks.

• Relevant certifications in software testing or automation will be considered an advantage.
