Job Description:
This job is responsible for understanding statistical modeling requirements expressed in technical language and executing per a specified plan to a specified timeline. Key responsibilities include the ability to present and communicate facts clearly and accurately with manager and peers, examine and sanitize large data sets, build basic multivariate statistical models, format code clearly and produce correct and well-documented reports. Job expectations include knowing statistical assumptions and making logical inferences.
Responsibilities:
- Understands statistical modeling requirements expressed in a technical language and executes per a specified plan and timeline
- Builds basic multivariate statistical models and makes logical inferences of relevant statistical assumption
- Examines and sanitizes large amounts of data efficiently
- Communicates effectively with direct manager and peers
- Produces accurate documentation with clearly formatted code
Required Qualifications:
- Predictive Model Building
- Python coding
- Financial Services Exp.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1+ years of directly relevant experience
- Advanced degree in statistics or another heavy quantitative discipline
