About the Role

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Content Analytics Intern to support our Visual Experience team within Digital & eCommerce. This internship focuses on analyzing how members engage with content across our website and mobile app and turning those insights into recommendations that shape digital content strategy.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Lead an individual capstone project focused on improving the measurement or performance of a key BJ’s digital content area, culminating in a formal presentation to leadership.
  • Build and maintain content performance dashboards for key app and site experiences, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze the performance of digital content (landing pages, banners, product content, help/tutorial flows) and identify opportunities to improve clarity, engagement, and conversion.
  • Conduct competitive or benchmark reviews of digital content best practices to inform BJ’s content strategy.
  • Support user journey and drop‑off analysis using tools like Contentsquare, Glassbox, or Adobe Analytics to uncover friction points.
  • Partner with UX, Product, and Creative teams to translate data into actionable recommendations for optimizing content and experiences.
  • Create dashboard templates, documentation, and playbooks that improve the consistency of future content measurement and reporting.
  • Assist in building hypotheses for A/B tests and multivariate tests related to content effectiveness.
  • Evaluate test results and summarize findings in clear, repeatable formats for leadership and cross‑functional teams.
  • Able to work hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA. Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Qualifications/Description

  • Recent graduate student majoring in Analytics, Data Science, or Marketing
  • Able to work hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with a content analytics tools, such as Contentsquare or Glassbox, is a plus
  • Experience with SQL and Tableau is a plus
  • Hardworking, curious, and eager to learn
  • Strong data analysis, communication, and presentation skills
