Corporate Investigator, Enterprise Protection Program - Global Investigations

The Corporate Investigator is responsible for investigating reports of internal theft, vandalism, fraud, suspicious activity, and violations of company policy under the direct guidance of the AMER GI Regional Manager and more experienced investigators. The Corporate Investigator utilizes technology, analysis, interviewing, and investigative techniques to protect and safeguard personnel, information, and assets.

Investigations are straightforward to moderate in nature, with regular collaboration and oversight from other investigators and the GI Regional Manager on escalated or sensitive matters. Corporate Investigators at this level work as part of a team, supporting local stakeholders, and are expected to learn and apply the concepts of continuous process improvement, innovation, and shared risk management.

Key job responsibilities
- Review and analyze CCTV video, access control systems, and other data collection capabilities in response to defined incidents to identify behaviors, root causes, locations, potential evidence, and/or person(s) involved, escalating anomalies or unclear findings to other investigators and the GI Regional Manager.
- Organize and investigate assigned incidents as part of a managed caseload under periodic review, escalating roadblocks, risks, and complex matters to the GI Regional Manager or more experienced investigators as appropriate.
- Collect, document, and preserve video, still images, documents, and other evidence/materials connected to an investigation and maintain them as part of the investigations’ workflow and case adjudication process.
- Conduct interviews of victims, witnesses, and persons of interest utilizing established interviewing techniques under the guidance and mentorship of experienced investigators, particularly for sensitive or complex interviews.
- Conduct straightforward investigations related to internal incidents and issues such as theft, fraud, and vandalism across the enterprise.
- Utilize a structured investigative workflow and case management system to track and close investigations, learning to identify trends and patterns to support process changes and prevent future incidents.
- Demonstrate developing written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation of investigative findings, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to empathize and verbally connect with stakeholders.
- Actively participate in training and mentoring opportunities, seek feedback from experienced investigators and GI Regional Managers, and apply learnings to build foundational investigative competencies.

A day in the life
The Corporate Investigator begins the morning reviewing their assigned caseload, prioritizing their day accordingly. They pull up CCTV footage to analyze a theft, looking through hours of video to identify suspects and preserve evidence. After lunch, they conduct an interview alongside another investigator, documenting statements carefully. They update case files in the management system, maintaining a high-level of report writing. Before wrapping up, they sync with their Regional Manager on an escalated fraud case and review trending patterns to help prevent future incidents. Every day blends analysis, collaboration, and attention to detail.

About the team
The Enterprise Protection Program – Global Investigations (EPP-GI) team is a specialized unit within Corporate Security & Investigations dedicated to safeguarding personnel, information, and assets across the global enterprise. Operating across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions, the team conducts investigations ranging from internal theft and fraud to external threats and policy violations. EPP-GI embraces continuous process improvement, innovation, and shared risk management, fostering a collaborative environment where investigators support one another and local stakeholders across global locations. The team values mentorship, professional development, and building strong partnerships both internally and with external industry groups.

- Associate's degree, or High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience in investigations case management
- Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
- Exposure to or foundational understanding of corporate investigation processes, including evidence handling, report writing, and basic interviewing
- Ability to review and interpret CCTV video and access control data with an understanding of Chain of Custody principles
- Willingness to learn investigative tradecraft, interviewing techniques, and technology-based investigation methods
- Ability to follow established procedures and escalate when situations deviate from defined processes
- 1+ year of experience working in Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Incident Management, or a related field

- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of law enforcement or security-related experience
- Experience in facility/corporate security management, law enforcement, risk management, legal, or related industries
- Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment
- Interest in pursuing professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
