What You’ll Do

 

Accounts Receivable

  • Process all A/R receipts and monitor aging reports, proactively following up with customers.
  • Create miscellaneous A/R invoices and maintain AR/Unapplied Cash logs.
  • Prepare daily and monthly sales reports.
  • Generate customer statements and reconcile A/R and sales accounts.
  • Serve as backup for daily cash management activities.
  • Develop and maintain work instruction guides.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules for the annual audit.

Cost Analysis

  • Build and maintain standard labor and overhead costs by model.
  • Analyze monthly cost variances and identify root causes.
  • Update and track cost changes by part.
  • Prepare monthly marginal profit analyses for representative models.
  • Support cost estimation for new model proposals.
  • Assist in preparing the annual business plan.
  • Compile monthly labor reports and maintain material indexes.
  • Contribute to additional projects and initiatives as needed.

 

What You Bring

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written communication and English language competency.
  • Demonstrated self‑starter capable of working independently.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • General accounting experience or foundational accounting knowledge.
  • Experience with BPCS or SAP.
  • Ability to speak and write Japanese fluently.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent accounting experience.
