The Team
Cost Transformation & Strategy Associate Manager is a capability to drive strategic transformation of our costs to enable PepsiCo’s ambitious growth & profitability aspirations. The Cost Practitioner (CP) team is a critical central component of CTX that leverages deep, strategic insights and analytics to help the organization identify and pursue areas of cost transformation for our biggest markets and cost categories.
In addition to driving insights, the CTX team will also be building a world-class digital tool to analyze our full cost-to-serve for our biggest DSD markets. The CP team will systematically execute deep dives that support market cost transformation while also providing key inputs into the tool’s design.
The Job
This Cost Practitioner Assoc. Manager role will support functional experts across our top markets within PepsiCo for both Foods and Beverages. This role will be heavily focused on strategic deep dives into key go-to-market problems to solve to identify incremental cost transformation opportunities markets could pursue. The work will be fast-paced, mostly project-based, deeply analytical, and hinge on the ability to translate analytics into insights that can influence the organization. This role will also be expected to partner with the CTX profit-to-serve digital tool product owners on methodology and insights as we build the new PTS tool.
To be successful in this role you will need to be perpetually curious, enjoy building an intimate knowledge of our cost structure, operating models, and profit drivers, and be fueled by analytically linking key choices to key outcomes end-to-end at a granular and actionable level. In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of go-to-market systems, common PepsiCo GTM models, and the market P&Ls. The role is currently an individual contributor role but will need to be able to work with diverse matrixed teams via highly collaborative ways of working in a project-based environment.
- Execute deep analytical efforts to deconstruct critical GTM business issues while developing strategic, operational, and financial analyses that point to insights and opportunities for markets to pursue
- Challenge the status quo to help key markets build and maintain their cost transformation pipelines, including synthesizing findings from complex analyses into a clear and logical presentations to educate and steer key business owners
- Provide thought partnership to business partners on a broad range of business-critical topics
- Selectively develop external perspectives through relevant and actionable benchmarks
- Collaborate with operations, GTM, Corporate Strategy, FP&A, DX, commercial, and Data & Analytics teams to codify process and tools in order to replicate and scale in additional markets
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,500 - $139,200.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience; multi-disciplinary or consulting experience preferred;
- Exposure to end-to-end P&Ls preferred
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and communicate clearly in both verbal and written form
- Highly analytical thinker with sound business judgment and strong technical skills to process large quantities of data
- Ability to work through high degrees of ambiguity and be self-directed in a dynamic and highly collaborate environment
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions
The preferred location for this position is Dallas, TX however this role may be based in one of PepsiCo’s US hub locations (Plano, Purchase, Chicago).
