Position Summary:
The Count Team Attendant is responsible for collecting funds and TITO tickets from gaming activity and counting them. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the Count Team Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Sort money by denomination.
- Log all money totals on drop carts.
- Ensure that totals are verified.
- Generate, print and distribute reports and edit lists.
- Prepare the win/loss reports for each day and input winning information.
- Separate incoming forms by date and type of winnings.
- Balance the figures to the required documentation.
- Maintain the necessary files.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to perform math calculations without the use of a calculator.
- Ability to use a computer and other data processing equipment, high-volume and low-volume currency counters, printer, photocopier, calculator, and other adding machines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
- Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions. Pushing and pulling needed with carts.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to bend, carry, climb, crawl, crouch, grasp, kneel, lift, pull, push, reach, sit, stand, or stoop during or for the duration of their shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
Work Conditions:
Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically performed in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work is in a high volume, fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
